Men’s Golf Jumps to No. 13 in NAIA Poll

Kansas City, MO. – LC State Men’s Golf climbed three spots to No. 13 in the latest NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 Poll, released on Friday. The Warriors are the highest-ranked team in the Cascade Conference and second-highest in the region behind No. 12 The Master’s (Calif.)
Conference for UBC held at No. 19 in the rankings. The Warriors jumped No. 14 Rocky Mountain (Mont.).
The LC State men won back-to-back tournaments with team victories at the RMC Intercollegiate and the LCSC Warrior Spring Invitational. The Warriors are ranked No. 24 by Golfstat and have four student-athletes in the individual ranks.
Jorgen Lie Viken tallied back-to-back wins individually at the LCSC Warrior Spring Invitational and the UPS Spring Invitational and sits at No. 6 in the NAIA. Juan Pablo Quisoboni is No. 43, Bryden Brown is ranked No. 53 and Devon Caruso is No. 60.
The Warriors have one tournament remaining in the regular season with the Walla Walla Invitational April 3-4. The tournament counts towards Cascade Conference standings.
