Lewiston, ID – On June 3, 2023 at approximately 11:47 PM, Lewiston Police Department received a report of an injury accident near Thain Road and Bryden Avenue. The incident was reported as a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident.

Lewiston police officers arrived on scene and immediately rendered aid to an unconscious female. They were also assisted at the scene by a citizen who had stopped to help. Lewiston Fire Department and Medics arrived on scene and continued with medical aid for the female.

The female victim, 66 year old Lewiston resident, was transported to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, where she had succombed to her injuries. The driver, 32 year old Lewiston resident, was driving a 1990 Ford Bronco. The driver remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation.

The Lewiston Police Departments Major Colision Investigation Team was called to the scene and investigate the incident. Thain Road was blocked for approximately 3 hours during this scene investigation.
