LEWISTON – Idaho State Police have reported that a motorcycle rider involved in a single-vehicle accident on August 7, 2023, has succumbed to injuries sustained in that crash.

On 08/07/2023 at 3:13 p.m., ISP responded to a single-vehicle motorcycle crash eastbound US12 at milepost 170 in Idaho County, Idaho. The motorcyclist, a 58-year-old male from Sherwood Park, Alberta, was traveling eastbound on US12 when he lost control while crossing a bridge. The motorcycle rolled and the rider was thrown from the bike. The rider was transported to an area hospital. The rider was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
This incident remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
