LEWISTON – The Lewiston Fire Department is happy to announce the promotions of Captain Chris Jacks and Firefighter Chris Jones.
Jacks, a Craigmont native, is being promoted to Battalion Chief and will be assigned to lead the B-Shift starting October 13, 2023. He joined the department as a reserve firefighter in May of 1994 and has served as a full-time member since 2004.
Jones, who joined the department as a reserve firefighter in 2017 and has been a full-time member since 2017, is being promoted to Engineer. In addition to his rank, he is also a paramedic. Jones will be assigned to B-Shift as well.
