Washington, D.C.–U.S. Senator Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) released the following statement today after the Senate unanimously passed a bipartisan resolution in support of Israel:

“Israel is a critical ally of the United States, and I remain united with my colleagues in Congress as strong advocates for Israel’s right to defend itself from existential threats by hostile parties,” Crapo said.  “The United States and our allies have a responsibility to unequivocally condemn Hamas’ war on Israel.  We must deprive Hamas and other terrorist organizations of Iranian-backed funding and lethal assistance the groups rely on to threaten Israel.”
