The Lewiston Fire Department is excited to announce the promotion of Captain Richie Lucas to the position of Deputy Fire Chief with the Lewiston Fire Department.  Lucas, who was hired at LFD in May of 2006, has served the community with honor and dedication for over 17 years.

Since the retirement of Travis Myklebust earlier this year, Lucas has been serving as the interim Deputy Chief and has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to the members of LFD and a standard of service excellence to the Lewis Clark Valley residents.
 
Chief Rightmier stated, “I really couldn’t have asked for a better person to fill this pivotal position and to lead our operations into the future.”
