Carpenter Clears National Standard in Outdoor High Jump

EUGENE, Ore. – Jennah Carpenter clinched her return to the national stage with a provisional standard in the high jump on Friday. The junior led a group of three Warriors to open the Oregon Preview at Hayward Field.

Carpenter cleared a height of 1.65m to tie for the third-best mark in the NAIA so far this season. She placed fifth in the event.

Kea Stieglitz, who hit the A standard last weekend in the javelin, finished sixth on Friday with a mark of 38.63m in the falling rain.

Ian Gardom competed in the high jump as well and just missed clearing a height of 1.90m.
