To complete the construction of the 36″ sewer main bypass from Main Street under the railroad, a large structure must be installed under Main Street near the Bargain Hunter Mall.
The eastbound lane of Main Street between 9th Street and 13th Street is currently closed and will remain closed for an additional two weeks.
The westbound lane will remain open and business access will be maintained. Main Street businesses between 11th Street and 12th Street will continue to have on-street parking to be accessed via westbound Main Street during the closure.
The public should anticipate traveling delays during this closure. Unforeseen conditions could alter construction schedules. If that happens, we ask for your cooperation and patience.
