(Lewiston, ID) Lewiston Police responded to the 400 block of 12th Street, in Lewiston, at 9:22 am on May 29, 2024, where a man had been shot. Upon arrival, Officers found a 53-year-old Lewiston man with a single gunshot wound to the leg. The man was transported to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center for treatment. The man remained there in critical condition as of 2 pm that day.
Lewiston Police Detectives investigated the scene and interviewed the other man involved. The investigation indicates this was an isolated incident stemming from a neighbor dispute. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact Det. Brian Erickson.
