KAMIAH, Idaho: August 21, 2024— Calling all those interested in working for the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests’ Fire Program! From August 23 to September 24, permanent seasonal fire and fuel positions ranging from GS-03 to GS-09 will be open for applications. All permanent seasonal positions allow for paid training and travel, competitive pay (including overtime and hazard pay), and federal employee benefits, such as medical and retirement. Permanent positions on engine crews, hand crews, helitack, fuels, smokejumpers, wildland fire use modules, dispatch, and district assistant fire management officers will be available on USAJobs.gov.
