Dallas Cowboys’ defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa agrees to 4-year, $80M contract extension

Veteran defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa and the Dallas Cowboys have agreed to a four-year, $80 million contract extension. The contract includes $52 million in guaranteed money and a $20 million signing bonus. (per Yahoo Sports).

Sources told Fox Sports about the agreement Tuesday, with the Cowboys expected to use the franchise tag designation on the defender had they not reached an agreement.

Odighizuwa, 26, was a third-round pick out of UCLA by the Cowboys in the 2021 NFL Draft. He totaled 172 combined tackles, 28 tackles for a loss, 13.5 sacks and two forced fumbles through his first four seasons, and has not missed a game in his career (67 straight with 63 starts).

The 6-foot-2, 280-pound defensive lineman had his best season in 2024 with a career-high 4.5 sacks, 47 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 1 forced fumble and 1 pass deflection and was credited with 54 pressures, as well as a career-high 860 snaps (77.9%).
