LEWISTON, ID – The 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program, a reading incentive program that helps build literacy skills in young children, ages 0 to 6, before they start Kindergarten is now available at the Lewiston City Library.

Registration for the program is easy and can be found on the library’s website at lewistonlibrary.org or by calling the Lewiston City Library.

Once registered, for every 100 books read, your child will earn a Brag Tag and their name will move up on our 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Reader Board. Reading logs are available on the library’s website or at the Lewiston City Library to help record your little one’s reading journey.
