CORVALLIS, OR – Griffen Parsells continues to get faster as the season progresses and was rewarded for his efforts with another Cascade Conference Track Athlete of the Week honor.
Parsells ran the third fastest 800m in the NAIA this season with the second best time ever by a Warrior. He is the second LC State athlete to run a sub-1:50 with a time of 1:49.69 which is an A standard and leads the CCC this season. He won the event at the Cougar Classic in a field made primarily of NCAA Division I competitors.
This is the third weekly honor for Parsells this season.
LC State Track and Field is in Pocatello for the Bengal Invitational this weekend as the regular season comes to a close.
