LAPWAI, ID – Nimiipuu Health, in partnership with the U.S. Army and the Idaho Air National Guard, will host a no-cost medical event as part of the annual Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) program. The event is scheduled for May 12 through May 21, 2025, and is open to individuals of all ages, with no tribal membership required.
Medical services will be available at the following locations:
Lapwai:

Lapwai Elementary School (170 Agency Rd.): Medical services will be offered daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Kamiah:

Wa-A’Yas Community Center (401 Idaho St.): Medical services will be provided daily from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Services include immunizations, optometry check-ups, dental exams and basic treatments, physicals, and evaluations for diabetes, asthma, and cardiovascular conditions. Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals will also be available.
According to Dr. Smith, Co-Interim Medical Director of Nimiipuu Health, the event reflects a continued commitment to improving access to essential health services in the region.
