PULLMAN, WA – A 25-year-old Pullman man has been arrested on two felonies for allegedly communicating with a minor for immoral purposes.

The case began on Sunday around noon when a man called Pullman Police to report that his 13 year old daughter received an illegal Facebook message from an adult male. According to court documents, the suspect was identified by police as Alexander Palenzuela.

The alleged victim told an officer that she had recently met the man at her apartment complex through a school friend. Palenzuela allegedly sent a naked picture of himself to the girl. Palenzuela reportedly admitted to sending the image when he talked with police. He was arrested on two counts of felony communication with a minor for immoral purposes and cyber harassment with sexual motivation.

Palenzuela was booked into the Whitman County Sheriff’s Office jail in Colfax and is scheduled to make his first court appearance this afternoon.
