LEWISTON, ID – Zane Hobart has reportedly been hired as the new varsity football coach at Lewiston High School.

Hobart has led Kendrick High School to four consecutive state football championships over the past four years. He is a Lewiston High School alumnus and reportedly informed his Kendrick team of the move on Wednesday.

Kendrick High School is now reportedly hiring to fill the coaching position.

The hire comes after former Lewiston head football coach Matt Pancheri announced in April that he was stepping down. Pancheri had led the Bengals for eight years.
