WSU Student Accused of Rape Standing Trial This Week

PULLMAN, WA – A 24-year-old Washington State University student accused of raping a female student inside his apartment is standing trial this week.

Isaac Andrade is charged with two counts of 3rd degree rape in Whitman County Superior Court.  The alleged rape occurred in November of 2023.  Andrade met the woman at a fraternity party at WSU.  The alleged victim told Pullman Police that they went to Andrade’s apartment after the party to watch a movie.  Andrade allegedly raped the woman while she was passed out.  She ran to a neighboring apartment and called Pullman Police.

Jury selection was conducted Monday in Colfax and the trial is expected to run most of this week.  Andrade remains listed as a student on the WSU website.
