Lewiston High Welcomes Zane Hobart and Brady Bagby as New Head Coaches

LEWISTON, ID  — Lewiston High School has announced the hiring of two new head coaches for its athletic programs. Zane Hobart has been appointed as the new head football coach, while Brady Bagby will lead the girls’ basketball team.

Hobart joins Lewiston from Kendrick High School, bringing with him experience in football leadership and player development. According to LHS Athletic Director Doug Henderson, Hobart’s focus on discipline, teamwork, and fostering a competitive spirit aligns with the values of the Lewiston community.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Coach Hobart to Lewiston,” said Henderson. “His leadership, energy, and dedication to developing young athletes make him the ideal person to guide our football program.”

Brady Bagby, a former standout basketball player and seasoned coach, will take over the girls’ basketball program. Known for his strategic approach, emphasis on fundamentals, and commitment to building a positive team culture, Bagby is expected to elevate the program.

“Coach Bagby brings a depth of basketball knowledge and a proven track record of mentorship and success,” Henderson said.

Both coaches will begin working with their teams immediately as preparations begin for the upcoming seasons. Lewiston High School expressed enthusiasm about the impact the new hires will have on student-athletes and the broader school community.
