LEWISTON, ID – The Lewiston Police Department has launched a new initiative aimed at strengthening community ties and increasing transparency through a monthly podcast titled “Chief’s Briefing.”

Hosted by Chief Jason Kuzik, the podcast will provide residents with updates on LPD programs, projects, and public safety efforts. Each episode will feature in-depth discussions with department personnel and community partners on topics impacting the city of Lewiston.

The debut episode, now available on YouTube, features a conversation between Chief Kuzik and Sgt. Nick Eylar, who leads LPD’s Investigation Division. The two discuss the formation of the Child Advocacy Center (CAC), a collaborative effort involving multiple local agencies. The CAC is focused on supporting and protecting vulnerable youth in the community.
