OTHELLO, WA – A multi-agency operation targeting human trafficking in southeast Washington state resulted in simultaneous search warrants at two illicit massage parlors on Thursday.
The Kennewick Police Department executed a warrant at Asian Wellness Spa in Kennewick, while the Othello Police Department, alongside Homeland Security Investigations agents, served a warrant at Health Land Massage in Othello, highlighting a coordinated effort to dismantle trafficking networks and enforce laws against illegal activities.
According to police, citizen complaints, covert operations, and open-source intelligence all were utilized to uncover ongoing prostitution-related crimes at Health Land Massage. Further investigation revealed that the owner, 64-year-old Liping Su, also owned Asian Wellness Spa in Kennewick, indicating a possible connection between the two establishments and suggesting an organized network of illegal activities across multiple locations.
In February 2025, a joint operation between the Kennewick Police Department and Othello Police Department confirmed illicit commercial sex activities at Asian Wellness Spa, located at 7535 W. Kennewick Ave., Suite A.
On June 5, 2025, the Othello Police Department coordinated the execution of simultaneous warrants with the Kennewick Police Department and Homeland Security Investigations Spokane Office at both of Su’s illicit massage parlors.
During the coordinated warrant services, three victims of human sex trafficking were recovered and offered support through resources provided by the Support, Advocacy & Resource Center, NewHope of Moses Lake, and HSI Victim Services.
Additionally, investigators recovered evidence of illicit commercial sex activities, seized thousands of dollars in illegal proceeds, and confiscated one vehicle.
Su was arrested and is facing charges of Promoting Prostitution in the Second Degree and Permitting Prostitution, with charges to be forwarded to prosecutors in Adams and Benton Counties for her alleged involvement in human trafficking and prostitution.
Police say the investigation remains active, with additional follow-up efforts underway “to further address and dismantle the criminal network.”
