Clarkston Woman Arrested on Drug Charges in Relation to Overdose Death of Lewiston Man

LEWISTON, ID – Lewiston Police say they arrested Shannon L. Grove on a federal arrest warrant for distribution of fentanyl at about 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

According to Lewiston Police, detectives found Grove, 52, of Clarkston, in a residence in the 600 block of Preston Avenue and she was taken into custody without incident.

Grove’s charge was the result of a Lewiston Police investigation of the death of Tyrel Roberge on October 14, 2024. Roberge, 36, died at his Lewiston home and the cause of death was determined to be the toxic effects of Fentanyl. Lewiston Detectives gathered evidence indicating Grove sold Fentanyl to Roberge while they were in Clarkston, Washington, on the day of his death.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation, Clarkston Police, the Quad Cities Drug Task Force and the Nez Perce County Prosecutor’s Office assisted with the investigation.

The case is being prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Washington.
