Paddle Boarder Discovers Body in Snoqualmie River

 

SNOQUALMIE, WA – The Snoqualmie Police Department is investigating the discovery of a deceased male found in the Snoqualmie River near Riverview Park on Saturday afternoon.

According to authorities, a paddle boarder reported seeing a body in the water around 12:46 p.m. on June 7. Officers responded promptly, securing the area and calling in assistance from King County Search and Rescue and the King County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team. The dive team located the body and activated recovery operations.

The King County Medical Examiner’s Office has joined the investigation to assist with identification and determine the cause of death. The identity of the deceased male and the circumstances surrounding his death remain unknown.
