Motorcyclist Airlifted After Crash Near Tekoa; Speed Believed to Be a Factor

COLFAX, WA – A Spokane man was seriously injured Saturday evening in a motorcycle crash near Tekoa, according to the Whitman County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies and emergency medical crews responded around 8:15 p.m. to the intersection of Fairbanks and Waterman Roads, where they found a motorcycle in a ravine after the rider failed to navigate a curve.

The motorcyclist, identified as 24-year-old Muhammad Razvi, was airlifted to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane with severe injuries.

Preliminary findings suggest that speed likely contributed to the crash. The incident remains under investigation.

Sheriff Brett Myers said further updates will be released as more information becomes available.
