CRAIGMONT, ID – The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office will conduct an Active Shooter Response Training at Highland School District #305 on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.

Officials are advising the public that there will be a noticeable law enforcement presence in the area during the exercise. The sheriff’s office emphasized that this is only a training drill and not an active incident.

The department thanked the community for its understanding as officers undergo critical preparedness training.
