TWIN FALLS, ID – A shooting at the Dunes Motel early Tuesday morning left one man injured and led to the arrest of a female suspect, according to the Twin Falls Police Department.
Officers responded to the scene at approximately 7:27 a.m. on June 24, 2025, after receiving a report of a male who had been shot. Upon arrival, they located an adult male with a gunshot wound to the leg and provided immediate medical assistance, including the application of a tourniquet. The victim was transported by Magic Valley Paramedics to St. Luke’s Magic Valley Hospital for treatment.
Following an initial investigation, authorities identified 31-year-old Tobi Smith as a possible suspect. She was taken into custody on a charge of aggravated battery.
Police said the incident appears to be isolated and confirmed there is no ongoing threat to the public. The case remains under investigation. Further inquiries are being directed to the Twin Falls County Prosecutor’s Office.
