KAMIAH, ID — A lightning strike during a storm resulted in the total loss of a 12-by-12 pump house in a farmer’s field, according to Kamiah Fire-Rescue EMS.
The fire did not spread beyond the structure, as surrounding grass remained green and wet. Fire crews completed mop-up operations at the scene. No injuries were reported.
