Trippie Redd was arrested on on July 4th at Miami International Airport while trying to catch a flight departing to France.

NBC Miami reported that the according to the arrest report, the 26-year-old rapper (real name is Michael Lamar White IV) was arrested on an outstanding warrant from 2023 in Miami-Dade County (further details of the warrant are currently unclear). He was arrested without incident and transported to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

Trippie’s arrest comes just weeks after he and fellow rapper Coi Leray welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Miyoco.
