CLARKSTON, WA – A woman has been arrested in connection with a stabbing that occurred at Clarkston’s Motel 6 on June 2, 2025.

On July 14, officers with the Clarkston Police Department took 65-year-old Phillis K. Krogman into custody on a charge of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder. The arrest followed continued investigative efforts by detectives, who developed probable cause linking Krogman to the incident.

Phillis Krogmanm the wife of Thomas Krogman and the sister of the victim.  Thomas Krogman was arrested on June 4 in Wyoming on an Asotin County warrant for attempted first-degree murder in the same case.

Authorities say Phillis Krogman was taken into custody in Asotin while attending a bond hearing for her husband. She was booked into the Asotin County Jail on the conspiracy charge.

The investigation remains ongoing.
