KOOSKIA, ID – Emergency crews responded to a vehicle fire Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Highway 12 and Highway 13, just north of Kooskia.

According to Kooskia Emergency Services, the fire was reported around 3:44 p.m. on July 17. Both Kooskia Fire Department and Kooskia Ambulance were dispatched to the scene.

Crews acted quickly to contain and extinguish the blaze, preventing it from spreading to the nearby hillside. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire has not been released.
