CLARKSTON, WA – Emergency crews across Asotin County and Clarkston responded to a series of vehicle accidents over a 24-hour period this past weekend, including two rollovers and a T-bone collision.
The first crash occurred Friday around 2:00 p.m. on 15th Street in west Clarkston, just north of Highland Avenue. The incident involved a single-vehicle rollover, but no injuries were reported.
Early Saturday morning, another rollover accident was reported east of Asotin. The vehicle’s sole occupant was uninjured.
Later that day, at approximately 6:40 p.m., responders were dispatched to a T-bone collision at the intersection of 4th and Harding Street in Asotin. One person was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Asotin County Fire District #1, Lewiston Fire & Rescue, and the City of Asotin responded to the incidents.
“This is a great example of local agencies working together in rescue and medical emergencies, which are the most utilized services we provide,” said Asotin County Fire District #1 Chief Noel Hardin. “With increased traffic during the summer months, we urge all drivers to stay alert and cautious on the roads.”
