CASHMERE, WA – A small airplane crashed into a residence in the 300 block of Tigner Road in Cashmere on Tuesday evening, according to the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. on July 30. Sheriff Mike Morrison reported that the plane was occupied by two individuals who were transported to Central Washington Hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time. No injuries were reported among the occupants of the home.
Authorities say the residence is located in line with the airport in Cashmere, though the cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
Chelan County Sheriff’s Office detectives remain on scene and have notified both the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), who are assisting in the investigation.
