LEWISTON, ID – The 19th annual Warrior Golf Classic four-person scramble will be held Aug. 24 at the Lewiston Golf and Country Club with an 11 a.m. shotgun start. The tournament serves as a fundraiser for the Lewis-Clark State Athletic Department.

“We are excited for this year’s Warrior Golf Classic and grateful for our community partners that help make this event a success,” LC State President Dr. Cynthia Pemberton said. “This event is a great way to support our student-athletes, department initiatives, and to engage with members of the LC Valley.”

The registration fee is $125 per player prior to 5 p.m. on Aug. 18. After that, the registration fee will increase $15 per player. The registration fee includes a light lunch, dinner, two drink tickets, green fees and a goodie bag. Golf carts are not included and must be reserved by calling the pro shop.

There will be divisions for men, women and coed teams with prizes for the winners. All teams entered in the tournament will be eligible for a team prize drawing.

Different games with various prizes will be available throughout the course that players can participate in for additional charges. LC State President, Dr. Cynthia Pemberton, members of the LC State Foundation board and Warrior student-athletes will be on various holes during the tournament for participants to meet and interact with.

Check in will start at 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 24, followed by a team prize drawing for all entered teams at 10:45 a.m. The shotgun start is set for 11 a.m., and dinner and awards will begin around 3:30 p.m.
