ASOTIN, WA – Fourteen-year-old karate athlete Danika Olsen-Bennett of Asotin earned multiple medals while representing the United States at the WUKF World Championships, held July 7–12 in Malmo, Sweden.

Competing as a member of the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) National USA Karate Team, Olsen-Bennett participated in seven events during the international competition. She won gold in two events, adding to her record as a six-time World Karate Champion, and also earned two silver medals and one bronze medal.

Olsen-Bennett trains under Coach and Sensei Daniel Zarate at Underdog Martial Arts.
