MOSCOW, ID – A 39-year-old Moscow man has pleaded guilty in federal court to receiving child sexual abuse material.
Devin Pickler pleaded guilty to the charge Monday. Pickler is set to be sentenced in December. He was taken into federal custody after pleading guilty.

Pickler was arrested by the Latah Regional SWAT Team and Moscow Police at his home in February. His arrest came after Moscow Police received a CyberTip from Kik in July of last year that Pickler’s account received child sex abuse material. Last winter officers seized Pickler’s digital devices with a warrant. Those devices contained the illegal material.

The case was initially charged with state counts locally in Latah County Second District Court. The U.S. Department of Justice then indicted Pickler and elevated the case to federal court in late February.
