IDAHO COUNTY, ID – The Idaho State Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred Thursday morning east of Kooskia.

According to investigators, at around 10 a.m. on Thursday, a 74-year-old woman from Kooskia was driving a gray Buick Enclave eastbound on Toll Road near Kings Bluff Road when the vehicle left the roadway, went off the left shoulder, and struck a tree.

The woman, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene from her injuries.

Next of kin has been notified. The incident remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
