LEWISTON, ID – St. Joseph Regional Medical Center (SJRMC) and Catalyst Medical Group (CMG) announced Tuesday that they plan to join together, bringing CMG into the SJRMC health system.
The combined organization will create a more comprehensive healthcare delivery system for patients and communities in the region. The addition of CMG to SJRMC’s network will expand services in cancer, maternity, heart and vascular, neurology, wound, orthopedic, primary care, and pediatrics, and establish coordinated care pathways for patients across specialties.

The CMG practices included in the acquisition are Lewiston Orthopedics and Valley Medical Center. The transition is expected to be completed in late 2025. At that time, CMG employees will join the SJRMC team. Until then, the two organizations will continue to operate independently. Both groups said patients can expect a seamless transition and will be able to continue seeing their current providers at CMG and SJRMC locations.

CMG and SJRMC said they will continue to update patients, employees, and community members throughout the transition.
