CLARKSTON, WA – TriState Health has launched its annual “Fight the Flu” campaign to help protect residents across the Lewis-Clark Valley this flu season. The initiative focuses on community education, convenient access to vaccines, and promoting healthy habits to reduce the spread of influenza.
Beginning October 1, flu shots will be available at all three TriState Family Practice clinics, covering patients from 6 months and older. Options include pediatric vaccines, standard adult doses, and high-dose shots for Medicare patients aged 65 and above. Pediatric flu vaccines will be offered at the Clarkston and Clearwater locations.
- Family Practice & Internal Medicine, Clarkston: 509-758-1450
- Family Practice, Clearwater: 208-743-8416
- Family Practice, Lewiston: 208-848-9001
In addition to vaccines, TriState Health staff will distribute hand hygiene products and tissue kits to local businesses. Chief Nursing Officer Jacqueline Mossakowski emphasized the importance of both prevention and preparedness, stating that flu vaccines and hygiene resources support not just individual well-being, but the health of the entire community.
TriState is also reminding the public of simple preventive measures, such as frequent handwashing and staying home when ill. More information on the campaign is available at TSH.org/FightTheFlu.
