Single-Vehicle Rollover on Hwy 95 Near Mile Marker 322 – Driver Uninjured

LEWISTON, ID – On September 27 at about or around 0927 am, Deputies were advised of an unknown injury collision on hwy 95 near mile marker 322 northbound. The vehicle rolled over and was resting on it’s top. When Deputies arrived on scene the driver was out of the vehicle and appeared to be okay.

The driver stated that her vehicle kept pulling to the left then she ended up in the ditch. A witness reported that the vehicle was all over in it’s lane before crashing.

After investigating the crash scene, it was determined that lack of sleep was a factor in this collision.

The Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind the public to ensure you get adequate sleep before getting behind the wheel. It is also imperative that you maintain your vehicle properly, not only for your safety but for the safety of those you share the road with.

The Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office wants the public to know that by Idaho law 49-624, you are required to slow down and move over when you see emergency lights on the side of the road. If you are unable to move over, you need to slow down to a reasonable speed and proceed with caution. This is not only for your safety, but for the safety of emergency personnel that will be entering and leaving an incident area. Please be aware of this and SLOW DOWN!
