LEWISTON, ID – LC State Cheer and Dance coach Sydnee Vial announced one youth clinic and two recruitment clinics for the 2025-26 school year. The Warriors will host a Mini Spirit Clinic on Oct. 11-12 to start their camp slate.

“Last year was the first year that we hosted clinics, and we have heard nothing but good things,” coach Sydnee Vial said. “We are hoping to grow the size of our Mini Clinic this year as well as our recruitment clinics. Getting our community involved in game day operations creates a more fun and interactive experience for Warrior athletic fans.”

Along with October’s Mini Spirit Clinic, Warrior Cheer and Dance will host recruitment clinics on Nov. 16 and Apr. 26. Registration for all three events is open now at lcwarriors.com/camps.

The Mini Spirit Clinic features sessions for ages 5-7 (Mini), 8-10 (Youth) and 11-13 (Junior) with prices that vary per group. The Mini session will be on both days from 9-11 a.m. at a price of $50. Youth will run 10:30 a.m.-noon for $55, and the Junior session is scheduled for 12:30-2:30 p.m. for $60.

“Our Mini Spirit Clinic is a great opportunity for children in our valley to experience a Warrior athletic game day from the perspective of our student athletes,” Vial explained. “They will learn about cheer and dance technique, how to cheer on the sidelines and it will end with a performance for parents to demonstrate what they have learned.”

Each recruitment clinic will feature a dance session and a cheer session and is open to grades 9-12 and current college students. The clinics give prospective student-athletes an opportunity to work with the LC State coaching staff as well as current Warrior student-athletes.

“Recruitment clinics are for prospective LC athletes,” Vial said. “They will learn about our program and have the opportunity to talk with coaches and current team members to see if LC would be a good fit for them for game day, competition, or both.”
