CLARKSTON, WA– TriState Health announced plans to open a new dermatology clinic this fall at its main campus on Highland Avenue. The clinic, located at 1119 Highland Avenue, Suite 7, will begin seeing patients soon and is already accepting scheduling requests.
The new clinic will be led by Carol Chandler, APRN-BC, who brings more than 27 years of dermatology experience. Chandler earned her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida before beginning her dermatology career in Florida. Over the years, she has gained extensive expertise in diagnosing and treating skin cancer, actinic keratosis, eczema, psoriasis, acne, warts, alopecia, and other complex skin conditions.
For the past seven years, Chandler has served patients in the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley through Catalyst Medical Group, where she focused on general dermatology for patients aged 12 and older. She said her greatest satisfaction comes from solving difficult cases and building relationships with a wide range of patients.
“There are really so many reasons that I find rewarding about being a provider,” Chandler said. “I enjoy that challenging case where you use your education and intuition to solve a problem. I love how genuine and thankful so many of the patients are. I love that I have the opportunity to interact with such a diverse and lovely group of people. I have taken care of everyone from acrobats to real-life rocket scientists”.
TriState Dermatology will provide general skin health services rather than cosmetic treatments. The clinic will focus on diagnosing and treating conditions such as skin cancer, psoriasis, acne, warts, and other common dermatological concerns.
