Oregon’s Kaylee Cordle to Join LC State Women’s Basketball Next Fall

LEWISTON, ID – LC State Women’s Basketball announced the third addition to its 2026-27 roster in South Albany High School’s Kaylee Cordle. The senior from Albany, Ore., joins Kiana Skogstad and Hali Anderson as part of the Warriors’ incoming class.

“LC Women’s Basketball just got better today,” coach Caelyn Orlandi said. “Kaylee Cordle is going to be an excellent student-athlete for our team next season. She is an extremely tough player and does whatever is asked of her to get the job done. She can rebound, defend, score the basketball, and can play 40 minutes at a very high level.”

Cordle, a 5-9 guard, helped South Albany High School to its first appearance in the State tournament in school history in 2022-23. The team continued to make history with a third-place finish at State in 2023-24 before a runner-up finish in 2024-25. Cordle has been voted all-league three times and All-State twice.

“To say I am excited about Kaylee is an understatement,” Orlandi added. “We are so thrilled she chose to continue her academic and athletic career in a Warrior uniform and I know that she embodies all it means to be a part of LC Women’s Basketball. Kaylee is kind, smart, motivated, determined and when she gets her uniform on, she is a fantastic competitor.”

Cordle also competes in volleyball and softball and helped South Albany win the State title in volleyball in 2024. She maintains a 4.4 grade point average and is a member of the National Honor Society. Cordle played AAU for Oregon Elite.

“She played on an excellent AAU team this summer filled with really great players, and she was the engine that made them go,” Orlandi said. “She was the heart and soul of her team and the rare times she wasn’t on the court they needed her out there. She competes fiercely and makes everyone around her better.”
