Khalid released the new single “Out of Body,” which features a music video with choreography and a male love interest.

The track, described as a “pop boy era” song with slick melodies and an old-school, early-2000s feel, appears on Khalid’s fourth studio album, “After The Sun Goes Down”. Khalid stated the song is a representation of him in his “fully liberated element” and it follows Khalid’s coming out in 2024, showcasing him embracing his identity and a new pop-focused era in his music. ‘Out of Body’ is the second song to be released from the upcoming album, following the track “In Plain Sight”.

Khalid broke onto the music scene after his first single “Location,” followed by the release of his debut album, the certified quadruple platinum American Teen. His platinum-certified sophomore album Free Spirit, released in 2019, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 and features the Grammy-nominated multi-format No. 1 single “Talk.”
