LEWISTON, ID – On Sunday, October 12, members of the Inland Empire AAU Karate Regional Team from the Lewis-Clark Valley competed in the West Coast Open Karate Tournament at Pierce College Gymnasium in Lakewood, Washington.
Athletes from across the United States and Canada faced off in kata and kumite events, with many divisions combining skill levels and featuring a dozen or more competitors. Despite the tough competition, local athletes fought hard and brought home several medals.
