MOSCOW, ID — The Moscow Police Department has announced the 24th Annual Citizen Police Academy, scheduled from January 7 through March 14, 2026. The ten-week interactive program offers residents a closer look at law enforcement operations and helps build stronger relationships between officers and the community.
Participants will explore topics such as patrol procedures, criminal investigations, drug enforcement, use of force, and firearms training. Classes will take place once a week in the department’s training room at 155 Southview Avenue.
Applications are available online at www.ci.moscow.id.us/253/Citizens-Police-Academy or at the police department lobby during business hours. Seating is limited, and the application deadline is December 19, 2025.
