Southern Idaho Man Arrested for Alleged Child Sexual Exploitation

TWIN FALLS, ID — Idaho Attorney General Raúl Labrador announced the arrest of a Twin Falls man on five counts of sexually exploitative material following an investigation by the Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit.

According to the Attorney General’s Office, investigators arrested 45-year-old Preston Seeholzer of Twin Falls on Thursday, October 9. The arrest stemmed from a multi-agency effort involving the Twin Falls Police Department, Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations, Idaho State Police, Rupert Police Department, and Meridian Police Department.

“Our ICAC investigators do critical work to protect children in Idaho, and I’m grateful for the partnerships we’ve built with local law enforcement across the state to better do that,” said Attorney General Labrador in a statement. “This arrest reflects the dedication of our team and the agencies who work together to keep our communities safe.”

The ICAC Unit operates as part of the Idaho ICAC Task Force—a coalition of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies dedicated to investigating and prosecuting individuals who use the internet to exploit children.

Anyone with information regarding child exploitation is encouraged to contact local police, the Attorney General’s ICAC Unit at 208-947-8700, or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678.

The Attorney General’s Office reminds the public that all charges are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
