Wolves Snap LCSC Volleyball Win Streak

LEWISTON, ID – Walla Walla (Wash.) showcased the depth of the Cascade Conference on Tuesday with a midweek sweep of No. 11 LC State Volleyball in Lewiston. The Wolves, receiving votes in the national poll, snapped the Warriors’ winning streak at four with scores of 26-24, 25-12, 25-21.

LC State is now 14-4 overall and 11-4 in Cascade Conference play. Karissa Lindner was the highlight of the night for the Warriors with an efficient performance both offensively and defensively.

“I was especially encouraged by our middle attack,” coach Katie Palmer said. “Karissa Lindner once again led the way. She delivered seven kills and six blocks, showing the kind of presence at the net needed for us to continue to grow as a program. We didn’t get the outcome we wanted, but as a coaching staff we’re keeping all of our student-athletes’ eyes on the process.”
