BOISE, ID – Governor Brad Little has directed that U.S. and State of Idaho flags be lowered to half-staff immediately through sunrise on Thursday, Oct. 30, in honor of the life and public service of former Congressman Richard Stallings.
Stallings, a Democrat, represented Idaho in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1985 to 1993 and later served on the Pocatello City Council. Governor Little described him as a leader dedicated to the people of Idaho, noting that his legacy in public service “will long be remembered.”
The Governor’s Office issued the flag directive on Tuesday.
