University of Idaho Hosts Free Vandal Science Day on Nov. 7

MOSCOW, ID – The University of Idaho College of Science is inviting middle and high school students, families, and educators to its annual Vandal Science Day, a free hands-on science event scheduled for Friday, Nov. 7, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Integrated Research and Innovation Center (IRIC) on the university’s Moscow campus.

This interactive event aims to ignite curiosity and excitement for scientific discovery. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of science activities and connect directly with U of I professors, students, and researchers.

Event highlights include:

  • Live science demonstrations and interactive exhibits
  • Guided lab tours, including a look inside the university’s video game design studio
  • A science knowledge competition with prizes
  • Meet-and-greet opportunities with faculty and students
  • Giveaways and photo ops for attendees

This year, Vandal Science Day has also partnered with Idaho Eats to offer a special all-day dining rate at The Eatery, the university’s all-you-care-to-eat on-campus restaurant.

Students may attend with their class, with family, or individually. The event is free and open to the public.
