MOSES LAKE, WA – Detectives with the Moses Lake Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit (SCU), working in partnership with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), have seized a large cache of drugs, firearms, and cash as part of a narcotics trafficking investigation.

The joint operation began late Tuesday night when officers conducted a traffic stop targeting individuals suspected of distributing fentanyl powder. Two people were detained at the scene. Detectives also recovered four firearms and more than $100,000 in cash believed to be tied to drug sales.

Due to the ongoing nature of the investigation, officials have not yet released additional information, including the names of those detained. The Moses Lake Police Department stated that further updates will be provided as the case progresses.
