LEWISTON, ID — The Lewiston Police Department has launched the 2025 LPD Community Survey, inviting residents, business owners, employees, and visitors to share their perspectives on local public safety and policing priorities. The feedback will play a key role in shaping the department’s next five-year strategic plan, covering 2026 through 2030.
Lewiston Police Chief Jason Kuzik said the survey is designed to strengthen collaboration between the department and the community. “Community feedback is essential in shaping how we deliver public safety services,” Kuzik said. “This survey allows us to listen, learn, and align our future goals with what matters most to the people we serve.”
The brief, five-minute survey is anonymous and confidential. It seeks input on topics such as traffic safety, community trust, drug and property-related crimes, and future outreach efforts.
The survey will remain open through December 6. Community members can participate by visiting https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LPD2025. Those needing assistance or accommodations may contact the City’s ADA Coordinator, Nikki Province, by email at nprovince@cityoflewiston.org or by phone at 208-746-3671, allowing up to 72 hours for a response.
“Together, we can build a safer, stronger, and more connected Lewiston,” Kuzik said. “Your feedback truly makes a difference.”
